Local volunteer and Tournafulla resident Jennifer Jean was delighted when she heard descendants of the small village were returning in early Spring.


Visitor Kaitlyn and her family visited the area in early March in the hopes of reconnecting with her great-great-grandmother's hometown. She wanted to know where her great-great grandparents were born. Thomas Wren was born in 1838 and died in 1921, his wife Hanora Wrenn born in 1855 died in 1906. She thought two of their children remained in Ireland but wasn't overly sure. 

Local volunteer Jennifer Jean was able to look through their research and identify local points of interest including the National School where her grandparents went to school (pictured below)
