William Mulholland ( son of John Mulholland, labourer) was married in Muff (Eglinton) on 22 September 1852.  He married Elizabeth Jane Logan (daughter of John Logan, pensioner and Mary McMaster).  They both lived in Craigbrack.  On 8 June 1856 they were in County Derry where they had son John baptised.  They moved to Milngavie, Scotland where they lived from about 1857 - 1860.  On 1 November 1857 a daughter, Mary Ann, was born in New Town, Milngavie, parish of New Kilpatrick, Scotland. On 28 February 1860, a daughter, Margaret was born in Bishop-Auckland, Durham, England.  In the 1861 England census William Mulholland had the name William Kennedy.   On 12 April 1864, another child was born in Craigbrack, Derry, Ireland.  This child Elizabeth Jane has the name Mulholland as well as the parents surname is again Mulholland.  On 27 January 1866, they were back in England, now East Hetton, Coxhoe, County of Durham for the birth of a son, Alexander Kennedy.   In the 1870 England census they are using the surname Milholland.  After this date all surnames are changed back to Kennedy. They had eleven known children.  

On 11 April 1882, Elizabeth Kennedy and younger children arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.  Elzabeth died on 9 May 1889 somewhere in Pennsylvania ?(Clearfield or Centre County).  William was killed by a train on 8 December 1897 in Clearfield County Pennsylvania, USA.
