Hello, I'm trying to find any info I can on my 3rd great grandfather Michael Saunders from Cork County Ireland. He was born 1797 Fermoy, Cork County, Ireland and died 3-15-1884 in Spring Valley, PEI, Canada. He married Mary Ellen Collins in 1831 in Cork County, Ireland. I can't trace this line any further than him. I have a ton of family info after him I'm willing to share with anyone who would like it. I also have a few pictures of descendants of Michael & Mary. Thanks for any help!

Do you have any idea where in County Cork Michael and Mary Ellen were married? Or a more precise date? If you have a location and a religion for them, then you might be able to find out more.
Where did you find out the birth details for Michael Saunders? A very early date - well done! Perhaps the record shows more information. Birth records would usuallly offer the name of the parents or at least the mother's name. Having a location such as Fermoy greatly helps to narrow down the search. Perhaps Michael remained in the location and got married there?
