    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

I checked two data bases for Mary's baptismal record from 1826-1836 and was not able to find the record using Michael as the father. Also could not find siblings.

Here is the link to the online Killoe parish register http://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0172    Records start in 1826. You may want to search for Mary in case Roots missed the record.

  • Many thanks Roger for your assistance, I have been unable to find any record on the suggested parish record. I will keep searching. I did wander if the ships records are accurate re age, parents names etc.

    Regards

    Christine

  • It is possible that he is related to my great great grandfather, Michael O'Hara, who immigrated to New Orleans, Louisiana (USA) in the 1800s.  His 1870 obit mentions he was from Kiloe, Longford Ireland.
