Looking for info on any of the above. Mary born c. 1833. Left Ireland & married John Hasty 23 Dec 1853 at St Chad's Cathedral Birmingham UK. On 1871 English Census Catharine (b.1812) living with daughter (Co. Mayo birthplace for both) with Hasty family in Birmingham,. Catharine died 1 Oct 1873 aged 61 years - widow of Dominic Gavin farm labourer.

    I was not able to locate Mary's baptismal record on Roots Ireland www.rootsireland.ie Many Mayo RC parishes do not have records back to 1833.

    I checked the 1856 griffiths valuation head of household listing for Co. Mayo. There were three Dominick Gavans (no Gavins) listed all in Burrishoole civil parish. if Dominic did not die until after 1856 possibly he is one of the three below.
