On Bridget's death certificate her parents are listed as Thomas and Ellen Kelly. On her marriage certificate she is listed as Bridget Rattigan. She may have been the widow of Mr.Rattigan when she married William Hart in 1854. Or maybe she was adopted by the Kellys after her Rattigan parents died? I hope to figure out why she was using a different surname from the people she called parents.
