My 2 x Great Grandmother was Elizabeth Carney B 1845.
She Married Thomas Patrick Birmingham on 27 August 1875 at the age of 21 in Oldham UK
(She was also known as Betsey, He was known as Parick and Thomas depending on which document you look at)
I have found both on the 1871 UK census at 7 Ironmonger Street, Oldham but by 1881 Patrick is Widow, however, I can, not find a record of Elizabeths death.
They had several Children on the 1881 Census, John (1866), Peter (1871- My G Grandfather), Margaret (1874 who emigrated to Ellis Island USA), Mary (1877), Kate (2) who emigrated to USA named Dyer, William (1880) who also appears to have died in (1880)
Elizabeth's Father is named on her marriage certificate as WIlliam whom I am yet to find.
I believe Patrick Thomas was from Offally
