My 6th great grandfather was Francis Clements, born about 1730, son John, born about 1779. John married Elizabeth Kirk. They immigrated to upstate NY. I would love to know more about Clements family in Ireland. Colleen

I'm afraid I don't know any more about Frances Clements than you do, but am interested in the family. John Clements' son, Henry (1809-1853) married my 3rd great-grandaunt Ann Ballantine (1807-1890). I'll let you know if I should learn anything more about the Clements during their time in Ballynure.
