Frederick Kelso was born on 10 October, 1890 at Hilden, Lambeg, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. He was a Sergeant in the Royal Irish Rifles in WW1. He was seriously wounded and awarded a medal and certificate for bravery at the Somme on 26/27 June, 1916.
