Honora Fox married John Hart(e) 1825-1905. They had three children: Catherine, Mary Ann and John Hart.

Catherine (Kate) Hart married Patrick Kelleher. They lived in Currygranny, but later moved to Newtownforbes, County Longford.

Hello. I would like to know if your Honora (Nora) Fox is related to my great-grandfather Hugh Fox. Hugh Fox was born Jan 1839 to Michael Fox and Rose Fox, I don’t know Rose’s maiden name. I am guessing they were born around 1815 in Leitrim. The children I have for Michael and Rose are Hugh, James, Mary, Margaret, and Catherine. Michael died before before 1856 in Leitrim. I don't have the exace date of death. Do you know the name of Nora’s father? Please respond to this note, I’d really love to talk to you.

Hello Mary, I wish I knew the answer to that question, but maybe we can figure it out. Here is what I do know about my GG Grandparents John Hart and Honoria (Nora) Fox. In 2010, David Leahy did a bit of research for me and he found the family in Newtownforbes RC parish. The baptismal records showed:

Catherine Hart born11th Dec 1860; Mary Anne Hart born 1st Sept 1864; Patrick Hart born 7th January 1868 and later John Hart. When the children were baptized John Hart & Honora Fox were from Currygranny. I do see that Hugh had a Mary and Catherine in his family and since the families used the Irish naming tradition, there might be a connection.

I believe Nora Fox was from Leitrim. In 1901 Honora Harte was living in Cloonagheeher Townland, Bornacoola Parish (My GGM was married in Bornacoola RC Church) Co. Longford. The family also lived in Currygranny Townland which is adjacent to Cloonagher. In 1911 Nora Fox Hart was living with her daughter and family in Newtownforbes Village. If you see a connection to your Hugh Fox, let me know. I am going to look through my records later, but I don't think I have parents for Nora Fox.
