Mary Doyle was born here in 1816. She married James Ryan in about 1856. She had 4 children: John (1855), twins Tom and Mary (1857) and Bridget (1860). The family left Ireland somewhere between 1867 and 1881. Everyone but John went to Durham in England and worked in Trimdon Colliery. Bridget and Mary married the Haley brothers James and Thomas, while Thomas married Annie Babcock. John went to the US before 1875, went to Belmont Ohio, and married Anna Jane Hartline in 1881. He fathered 3 boys: William, John Thomas, and Carl. John died in a railroad accident in 1886.
