Census returns, marriage and death records show a 5 year variance +/- of the estimated 1823 birth year.
Matilda married Thomas Joyce in Dunfermline where they had 9 children. After Thomas's death, Matilda became a stoneware dealer and married Charles Cahill (aka Cathol) in 1878 in West Lothian where she passed away in 1892.
