My Grandfather, Michael Lenaghan was born on 6 Oct 1890 in Jamestown, Leitrim. Son of James Lenaghan, a farmer, and Ellen (nee Moran). He left Ireland to come to Glasgow where he worked on the railway as a platelayer and married Annie O'Brien of Salt Hill, Donegal on 29 Feb 1924. He changed his surname to Leonard at some point before the marriage in Glasgow, and they had 9 children, all of whom have now died.
I'd love to trace my family back as far as I can and perhaps to meet any relatives.
I'd appreciate any help on this and may be coming over to the Jamestown area in September of this year.
