Patrick was born in Derrylin County Fermanagh to Thomas McGovern and Mary Corry. He married Catherine Coyle from Woodquarter Donegal in St MAry's Chapel Duntocher Scotland in 1903. They settled in Duntocher and had a family of 6 children, however 3 of the children died in infancy. His daughter Catherine born 1913 was my grandmother.
