I am looking for information for Samuel Blair and his wife Elizabeth (Eliza) Hamilton McAteer.

Samuel and his wife migrated to Scotland between roughly 1872 & 1874 and died on 30/3/1883. He was born circa 1843. I am trying to locate marriage / birth records for them or any information on his siblings. I have Birth / Death records for their children some of whom were born in Doagh Grange Ballyclare therefore they would have been living in that area prior to 1872. (Blair Children Children: William, Robert ?, Isabella, James Magee, Samuel, Annie, Mary, John)

I am also interested in locating information on Samuel's father Thomas Blair and mother Isabella McGhee (Magee). Birth/Death/Marriage. I found a Thomas Blair who died in Doagh Grange (Born circa 1808, Died Doagh Grange 1875) I have no way of identifying if he is the father of Samuel or if he is a relative.

Here’s Samuel & Eliza’s marriage in Antrim Register Office in 1864:

Both lived in Ballyclare at the time of their marriage. Possibly a mixed marriage in view of the use of the Register Office.

I don’t think that the 1875 death you have found is your Samuel’s father. The informant for that death was Margaret who I think was his wife. This looks to be her own death in 1892:

I don't see a likely death for either Thomas or Isabella and suspect that either they died before 1864 when death registration began or they had left Ireland.
