Stephen McMullen, my GrGF, was born in Ireland around 1830. Not sure where but might be in Northern Ireland. His religion was Episcopal. Believe his parents to be James McMullen and Mary Bellford McMullen. Stephen migrated to Canada, maybe in 1861, and married Rachel Wilson on 4 May 1865 in Bruce, Ontario, Canada. They migrated to Michigan USA about 1882 with 4 of their 5 children. My paternal grandmother was Kezia McMullen born 17 May 1872 in Canada. After about 10 years I find the family in the Cleveland City Directory, Cleveland, Ohio. Not sure when they left Michigan for Ohio. Stephen remained in Cleveland till his death on 8 Oct 1913 and is buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. His wife Rachel eventually moved to Los Angles, California after Stephen's death and lived with her daughter Phoebe till her death on 15 April 1929 and is buried beside Stephen at Lakeview Cemetery Cleveland, Ohio. I would like to know more about Stephen's life while living in Ireland, such as when was he born, are James and Mary his true parents, even when he left for Canada.
