  • My wife would love to know who posted this information as this is her grandfather and she didn't know about his brother being killed or that he even had a brother.

  • Hi, Ann's related to Eugene through his daughter, Johanna Mary, who married James Dalton. Dalton was Carrick-on-Suir. Johanna had sister, Margaret (Peggy) who married Christy Burns, Frances Mary and a brother, Dennis, who later in life changed his name to Conway. She also thinks that there was a brother named Jimmy about whom she knows nothing. And also, she believes, a sister named Catherine who died as a child.

That is as much as she knows!

Thanks for contacting as you are basicallly the first person to have contacted her through the net.

  • I am sorry, but I can't find the reply where I thanked you for the grave details. I apologise if I was remiss in doing so. I was able to find it using your extra bit of info. Thanks. Do you know if anybody has ever visited the grave?
