The Mary From Dungloe Festival takes place every year towards the end of July in Dungloe town in County Donegal.
The Festival, which has been running since 1967, consists of music, art exhibitions, treasure hunts, golf contests, and of course the Mary From Dungloe Pageant.
Local folk singer Daniel O'Donnell is a regular feature in the festival line up, and is definitely a contributing factor to the popularity of the event.
