Husband Hugh Moore died in 1872 in Glasgow, Scotland. Ann applied for and received Poor Relief in 1872 and 1873.

Ann Moore nee McSherry married James Devine/Divine  11 November 1873 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Their son James Devine/Divine was born in 1874 in Glasgow.

The Devine/Divine family travelled to New Zealand on the Mairi Bahn; arriving 25 July 1874. (NB. Ann's son Robert Moore stayed in Scotland).

Son William was born in 1876.

Ann Devine/Divine spent a number of years in the Seacliff Asylum 1885, 1890-1918.

Ann died on 7 December 1918 and is buried in the Waitati Cemetery, Dunedin, New Zealand.
