His father, John Coleman, born 25MAR1859 in Cork. Married Elizabeth O'Neil in Tralee at the Catholic church, 04Feb1877. It was her second marriage. She was married to Jeremiah McCarthy but he died in 1885. John and Elizabeth went to New York or Boston with Justin McCarthy and John, leaving the girls in Ireland. John and Elizabeth went back to Ireland, about 1905, and lived at 25 Upper Castle Street, Tralee, which she inherited from her father John Neil. She also inherited a place on Walpole Lane. Elizabeth's mother was Margaret Connor, born 1825 in Ratass, Tralee, Kerry. John and Elizabeth Coleman later moved to Cork, and lived at High Street in Cork. Elizabeth died 27Nov1933 at the Cork District Hospital. Was a widow when she died. I cannot find which cemetary she is buried at. Her husband John died 17 Apr1928 in Cork. I don't know where he is buried either. I wrote to several Catholic churches in Cork, but they had no records of either of them.
John Coleman, born 25mar1859, my great grand father, had brothers named Mike and Pat. That is the only clue I have for him, which isn't much.
I have been able to find more on Elizabeth's family. However, I want to find out more about the Coleman family.
