Migrated to/Born in USA
Looking for information on Patrick McElwain, born in 1758 in Co. Donegal. He immigrated to the USA in 1779 through Philadelphia on the ship, "Faithful Steward". Would like to know siblings and parents. I believe the family was from Scotland originally.
He settled in Nine Points, Bart Township in Lancaster County, Pa. He married Mary Campbell and had many children.
I have information that he may have had a sister named Agnes or Nancy.
