Susan Traynor was my grandmother on my mother's side but she died before I was born & my mother spoke little of her as my grandmother was in her 40s when my mother was born & my mother was raised essentially in a convent by nuns.
My grandmother's parents were Michael / James Traynor & Bridget / Biddie née John both born in the early 1850's. My grandmother had two sisters both born in Ireland Mary / Minnie born 1888 & Annie born 1889. When my grandmother was 6 years old the family had moved to England & were living in Pilkington, Lancashire. She died in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire where some of my family still live.
I'm interested to understand where exactly they came from in Ireland & why the family moved to England & if they kept in contact with or there is evidence of any descendents left in Ireland.
