My great-great grandfather William Martin was born on 14th December 1823 in Stranorlar parish in Donegal. I don't have a record of him moving to Scotland but his marriage is listed in St Andrew's Cathedral in Glasgow on 28th November 1844. He married Agnes Tonar who was born in Glasgow. They moved to Ratho in Scotland at some point and had several children including Mary Anne Martin, my great grandmother. I have found a death certificate for Agnes, his wife but I can't find any death details for him in Scotland.
