Part the XO Chronicles 1821 Project

Number 6 Ballinvirick is one of only 2 houses in County Limerick for which the 1821 Census returns have been recovered and digitised on line.

In 1901, a completely different family (name) was living in Number 6 - The Nash family.

In the 1911 census, there was nobody recorded as living in Number 6 - the population of this townland having fallen from 40 to 20 residents in just 10 years.

Do you have information about any of the people you can see linked to this people below?  Where did they go to and where are there descendants today?

Do you know any more about this building?  Perhaps there is a photo out there somewhere which depicts what life was like at one time here.
