Glenboy (Gault Family Farmhouse)

Believe this to be the farmhouse where my mother Catherine Anne Gault was born (1912). Having travelled virtually around the roads of Glenboy, this house and buildings looked familiar. Parents - Robert John Gault and Susanna Gault (born \Nixon).

It’s such a cute house, it reminds me the house of my parents in Switzerland. However, my mom loves flowers, so we have a lot of them at home. These cute white building always arise something warm in my soul. I noticed that I write about them often in my blog, you can learn more here. I believe it’s because we all want to come back to childhood.

My former colleague at the Institute of Technology, Sligo. Now retired and living in Sligo. John was born in Derry city.

I've been helping him with his family tree and have a first draft of the tree.

On checking my drfat Gault tree, I see 10 children born to Robert Gault and Susan Nixon. That's what I found. So my friend John's father is William (1904-1986) and that means that your mother Catherine Anne is John's aunt. What is your name? Do you live in Ireland?

Gerry, there are 14 children born to Robert & Susan or Susana Gault. I'm a bit confused about John! The only person I have with the date of 1904 is William John Gault,

who died in Londonderry in 1981. I do have some more work to do on the Dublin connections in my tree though, to see if there are any.
