Emigrated from Tavnaughbrack Townland, Cushendall to Owen Sound, ON 1941 at age of 10 with parents James and Jane (McElheran) McClarty and 9 siblings. Sister Rose died at sea. Left behind sister Rose who died in 1828. Sister Mary and husband Neil McElheran followed later.
