Thomas Kenny was a convict transported to Australia (Van Diemen's Land - Tasmania)  His 'number' is 73 (possibly a convict number relating to a specific convict establishment in Tasmania)

 

Thomas Kenny is described as 18 years of age, 5 feet, 3 ¼ inches high with brown hair and dark grey eyes. Thomas has a Crucifix above the elbow on the right arm.  He is a blacksmith by Trade.

 

He was sentenced in Dublin in 1818 for Life for Wilful murder and transported to Australia.  He arrived at Sydney in the ship ‘Bancooles’, then was transported from Sydney to Tasmania (Van Diemen’s Land) on the ship ‘Admiral Cockburn’.

There is a reward for his recapture.
