Patrick sponsored his brother, John and in September 1855, John Gorman, his wife, Julia and children (Maria, Anne and Bridget) emigrated on the Bee from Liverpool, arriving New South Wales, Australia in January 1856. John is listed as coming from Ballynakill, Co Galway. Seeking information on family of Patrick and John prior to emigrating. Patrick settled at Dapto,New South Wales. John may have settled in the Hunter Valley region. Patrick died 11/1/1879 and is buried at West Dapto Catholic Cemetery. His wife, Eliza appeared in 1848 Census, but does not appear since. Date and whereabouts of death unknown.
