Bridget Brennan was born around 1878, and her father was a publican named Daniel Brennan. I don't know her mother's name, a birth certificate doesn't seem exist.
She was adopted at some point by the McAllisters, who were a catholic family in Limerick. Bridget also worked in domestic service in a Presbyterian ministers' household (McIntyre) on Clooney St.
Bridget married Edward Wallace in 1899. He was a railway man, also from Limerick. She had ten children in all, 7 survived to adulthood. The family left Limerick in 1927, half to the States, half to England. Their daughter Annie, born on Island Road in October 1909 was my grandmother. EJ 19.04.20
